Here at Sheeplands, we believe in being more than just a storage facility. We’re part of this community, and that means showing up for the people and causes that matter in it.

That’s why we were delighted to choose The Cowshed as our charity of the year. Based in Wokingham, The Cowshed is a remarkable local charity that provides good quality clothing and essential items, free of charge, to anyone in Berkshire experiencing hardship or personal crisis. In the last five years alone, they’ve supported over 30,000 individuals across the county. The work they do is genuinely life-changing, and we’re proud to support them.

Cake, Flapjacks, and a Whole Lot of Heart

To raise funds, our team got their aprons on and baked. There were cakes, flapjacks, brownies and plenty more besides, all made with love (and, we suspect, a fair bit of friendly competition).

Rather than setting fixed prices, we asked for donations, and our customers and colleagues came through in style. Between cash donations on the day and contributions through our JustGiving page, we raised over £200 for The Cowshed.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, and to our brilliant team for putting in the effort to make it happen.
